2D City Maps
Perfectly integrated into the Tele Atlas street network, Tele Atlas’ 2D City Maps display two-dimensional representations of detailed building footprints; town blocks, including sidewalks and water systems; and railway infrastructures. Detailed and accurately geocoded, Tele Atlas’ 2D City Maps cover more than 190 cities across Europe, the United States and Asia-Pacific.
3D City Maps
Tele Atlas’ 3D maps help drivers and pedestrians more quickly and easily orient themselves, in new environments through realistic map displays. With 3D capabilities, screen images in in-car, portable navigation systems and local search applications on mobile devices more closely match what users actually see around them. By leveraging our 3D city maps, developers can add recognizable building representations with excellent optical quality while maintaining a low volume of data.
3D Landmarks
Tele Atlas’ 3D Landmarks comprise remarkable buildings and statues that are well-known to residents and tourists. Each landmark has a realistic texture and can be zoomed-in and rotated, giving users a better understanding of their spatial environment. Our 3D Landmarks have instantly recognizable names and accurately geocoded center points. We currently offer nearly 2,800 3D Landmarks/Icons spanning more than 30 European cities, more than 50 United States cities and in cities across Asia-Pacific.
Advanced City Models
Advanced City Models are three-dimensional representations of major city centers that dramatically raise the clarity and reality of screen images within in-car and portable navigation systems and mobile devices. Advanced City Models displays more closely match what users actually see in their surroundings, helping them more easily find locations and services.
Urban Maps
Urban Maps orients pedestrians in city centers with premier out-of-car content. Urban Maps incorporates Tele Atlas 2D City Maps and Landmark Icons to enable pedestrians to efficiently navigate urban areas with a more realistic display of the city environment.
Urban Maps are built on top of the rich content included in the MultiNet map product with additional features and functionality designed to meet the needs of pedestrians. Tele Atlas MultiNet delivers the entire street network, including non-drivable, pedestrian-only thoroughfares and millions of points-of-interest to enhance find capability.
